    i dont have a router s instead of routing i thought i could just take two pieces of wood, cut a hole right THROUGH the first piece for pickups,and then glue both parts one on top of the other. do you think in would work? thanks

    i get that same felling every time i take somthing apart. i get so freaked out that something is broken. just changing the strings makes me nervous... well not really truss rod cover you can buy for like 2 $ nothing to worry about and the corrosion, i have that all over my tremolo. its just the finish coming off the metal parts. just looks uglier , doesnt affect your playing. unless its rust!

    another way is to boil some water in a container on the stove then put another container with parraffin inside the water without the water getting in. we have a machne that does that in physics class.......

    nice inlays im like the other guys more traditional.... but i think it wouldnt look bad if you took off a bit of the length fo the body past the bridge. its so hard to figure out something new that wont look too creepy...

    id go for jem and js their necks are easier to handle thats why i dont like gibson that much the finish on the neck slows you down a bit..... urgh looks great though!
