  19. yea good point brian about the tips...i guess i could bookmatch it somewhat up there..and about the neck thru archtop i think i would do the arch top a separate piece..so it would just glue onto the body..
  20. i was thinking of doing a PRS style double cut away Les Paul...but its gonna be like a mix between PRS and Gibson..with a quilted top that is blue with a black backing...and white natural colored binding....(typical PRS right?) it will be an archtop also and a nech through...sound good so far? any ideas or complaints? and about the archtop..how hard is this to do? to figure? to route pickup holes etc?any ideas on doing any of this would be greatly appreciated...thanks...(also i was thinking of using that flame veneering i have on the sides of the body all the way around....so quilt or flame on top...binding..flame on the sides..then just black back...) thanks guys...the explorer is coming along too...just thought i would plan in the down time(waiting for parts)
  21. i think locking tuners that actually lock in place would be great..then no accidental bumps of the keys..or if u lay the guitar down(not that i do this) and the tuners wouldnt move and it wouldnt go out of tune so easily...especially if u have a gig bag...thats what i thought locking tuners were at first...
  22. in the tutorial pictures...like the material finish one...i noticed the body has like a primer on it....the body is a solid color..what is that? and why is it there? thanks
