Ki swordsman
cool, you know if your still going for the spidy head on the headstock you could use a scan from the movie posters and get half the face on there, you know the pics which have half the face and a reflection of the city in the shiny eye thing? ...if u can find one the right size anyway and you could take the pic to a decal shop to get one made for you if you wanted
monkey69962000
you didnt read the whole thing did you. Well im having one of my good friend draw up the inlay for the frett board and also draw the headstock which will be the shape of a web. The frett board will be a web shot like the web rope spiderman swings on.
kings_x
Hmm.... seems that between the neck and bridge pickup the body would be weaker and much more likely to snap. Also, that is gonna be a b!tch to sand. Great minds think alike. Those were my exact thoughts.
darren wilson
Here's my contribution, building on LGM's mods: More accurate pickup and bridge/tailpiece placement.
silvertonessuckbutigotone
had one all along Red base paint with a blue burst how the hell are you gonna do a blue burst around those legs?! i dont think i would like it that much with red and blue, i'd like it black and stuff. EDIT: I just realized red and blue are spiderman colors dont make fun of me its early!

silvertonessuckbutigotone
to me, this one is the winner, it kicks some serious butt Curtis the body alone does, but with the neck on it, it'll look like the spider ate a guitar neck for breakfast
monkey69962000
haha. The problem with your silver tone is thatth neck looks to far down. I mean its really wierd like that. Well is that supposed to be a 34 frett because i wanted to make a 21 or 21 frett guitar. I just realized red and blue are spiderman colors dont make fun of me its early LOL hahahahahahahahahaha. truerussian558
the thing that darren added on seemed to me to be the best control positioning (that is controls in the back, behind the bridge)
MKGBass
someone with better computer skills can expand on this if they like it... better upper fret access, no bulbous spider head
monkey69962000
thats a bitch to saw. Can i make that design. Ill make it in a while. Im asking you because its clearly not my design.
68 lost souls
I think what that is is that the outline is the wood and the rest is either inlay or a finish. The head is inlayed onto the fingerboard. Not sure but thats what it looks like to me.
Strange Fruit
Or maybe rout out the holes in the web into something like a maple cap, then glue it on to a mahogany body.
monkey69962000
got the idea of having the web design be an inlay and the inlay will have the cavaties to put the wires through.
