LukeR
Hi all, what do YOU use to cut the string slots on your nut; in particular, the B and high E string slots? I have heard a few different methods; just wondering what the general consensus was. take care, Luke
Scott Rosenberger
I use the stewmac files, they aren't that expensive if you are going to cut a few nuts
soapbarstrat
Must have been covered in-depth pretty well in the past. Try a search to check that out. The special files sold by the guitar repair suppliers are expensive in my opinion, and they keep getting more expensive. I think the type I use are going for 12 bucks each now. Even though they're expensive I have broken down a few times and bought a few, so that now I have a pretty complete set. For home-made variations, try the search.
