fretless bass

I recently aquired a fretless bass..I want to put frets in it..can anyone give me some scales and measurements please..

Check out the making the neck from scratch section of the site. They have the measurements for a 25.5 inch scale guitar.

You can do a bit of math and get your bass scale measuresments..

Bass Scale x Guitar fret measurement = Guitar Scale x Bass fret measurement

I believe that would work... Just make sure the numbers look okay first.

go here.there is a mathematical formula for that and it's different depending on scale length.by the way this site is listed on project guitar under reference/unique sites/fret placement calculator.
