PerryL
After drooling thru the new Guitar Buyers guide I saw Switch Guitars has been using a material called "VibraCell" to build neck thru instruments which is an alternative to wood. There's a PDF on it which is quite a good read if you're interested. Vibracell PDF
www
Thank God for capitalism, but I'll stick to wood until it is gone.
sscovill
Agreed. Sounds to me like they're taking the "personality" out of guitars.
iskim86
i've heard from one owner over at Harmony-Central that they really do have great sustain and vibration throughout the whole guitar. I'm interested in getting one... it's really inexpensive too.
PerryL
I was very interested in this but I was a little hesitant with the fear of being labeled a blasphemer, but Reverend Guitars are made with a polymer ring around the outer shell and I love the sound of those. While i guess they do have the wood core, Phenolic top and Back.
