well i wanna put them in a jackson kelly but it only has 1 volume pot and a three way switch and i looked at the wireing digrams on there website but it doesnt say how too so do you guys have anyways to do this if so can you post it or something thanks

The wiring diagram comes with the kit to wire any configuration that you may want.

well it really doesn't show that configuration on the pamphlet...but it is the configuration i use with those pups and all you have to do is completely bypass the tone knob

I have done exactly what you want to do, and I found the proper wiring diagrams on the EMG website. They've redone their site since then, though, and I didn't keep the PDF.

The ZW kit is designed to be a straight replacement if you have a Les Paul, and includes the pickups and all the controls you'll need. But if you just want the core sound Zakk gets, put an 85 in the neck and an 81 in the bridge. But since your Jackson is different in just about every other way from a Les Paul, don't expect miracles.

Shouldnt it just be a standard 1 vol 3 way switch wiring diagram and then the hookups to the battery ? Id E-mail EMG im sure theyd help you out.

Wes, maybe the booklet I got from guitarpartsdepot was different because it had the 1 vol w/ 3 way switch on it, and then it had an Les Paul only 2 fold page with the 2 different type of wiring for the LPs. I used the one for 1 vol to set up the guitar that I'm making now. Nad I thought that I was that only one, but as I can see G_urr_A had the same problem, EMG redid the site and I can't find all the diagrams that the had once up there. I'll say e-mail them,
