freckmoto Posted May 17, 2003 Report Share Posted May 17, 2003 Hello everyone. I recently changed the strings for the first time on my tele (just got it recently). I went up to my preferred 10's over the 9's that came from the factory. I resetup everying, following the helpful guides I found on this site. Everything seems to work, except that no matter how high I set the action, the g string still has a nasty buzz when played open. Anyone have any ideas about fixing this? Perhaps I need a new nut?
