PerryL
I noticed on the TK Instruments that his guitars don't have a radius on the fingerboard and wondered if anyone has built their guitars with no FB Radius before?
american_jesus
go play a classical...that's pretty much what you'd be getting...
PerryL
With electrics being a slimmer neck, Do you think it would be an advantage, or disadvantage tho? It's just a notion to make the neck on my new V with no radius. I thought I'd throw it out to you guys.
Saber
If you have a matching flat-radius bridge, it might be easier for the picking hand for string skipping.
drewby9000
I found that the first show I played with my Fender Toronado, I was bending the strings past the edge of the fretboard, because its radius was far larger than that of my Samick SG. My answer, Easier bends. Just a preference thing I guess though. I work fine with both types now.
Slaughthammer
playing chords will be harder, lower action possible because you don't come in trouble with the radius when bending.
