AlGeeEater
Here's an update...Wednesday I'll be taking the body to one of my wife's uncles, he's got a big workshop (not the drummer, another uncle...they all live in this little hamlet here and the table saws are at his place these days)...he's got lots of tools, including a ribbon saw, band saw etc.... That way we'll be able to straighten all my cuts and get those inserts sorted out...with any luck, it'll all be glued an ready for sanding by Friday...!!! Time to start hunting for paint then...; How many wives do you have? If hes got more then one, hes probaly ready to rip his hairs out

Paul Marossy
That's the hole for the jack! Oh. Cool. I like your concept, BTW. Bo's guitars are all kind of unusual. I like the Telecaster meets Bo Diddley idea.

Paul Marossy
I don't know if it's a problem, it just seemed odd to me. I would be thinking white or possibly gray. But, I see your concept with that. Hey, do whatever you envision, it's your project!

Mickguard
Well, I described the mess I've made so far of finishing the Bocaster in the finishing forum, but I figure I'll post a pic of it here too: I plan on sanding it back down and refinishing it again in the Spring, since it's getting cold now ( and I want to play the thing already )...For now, I'll try to fix the problems as much as possible and just not care so much... I learned a lot --especially about how much clear coat you can put on at any one time Oh yeah, and I need to find the proper sand and sealer around here --apparently what I'd found wasn't the right stuff
mushy the shroom
Lookin' good so far. Can't wait to see it with all the hardware, and pickguard. Can you say classy? Probably, considering it's not a big word.
