westhemann Posted November 18, 2004 Report Share Posted November 18, 2004 well it depends on the relationship of the fretboard to the top of the guitar as well...just making it 4 degrees will not necessarily be correct if the fretboard is 1" above the guitar top...but if it is only about 1/4" above the top(pretty average),then 4 degrees sounds pretty close. BUT i have not drawn it out,...if you have,then trust what you came up with so i guess you are an old metallica fan and you want to build an explorer? great guitars.... damageinc Posted November 19, 2004 Author Report Share Posted November 19, 2004 Thanks. The neck pocket will be 5/8" deep so the top of the fretboard will be 1/4" above the guitar body.
