LGM Guitars Posted December 12, 2004 Report Share Posted December 12, 2004 don't mask ANYTHING with wax if you plan on trying to paint it later. Mask it off with a good grade of masking tape like you would if you were going to spray it, do the swirl, peel the tape and clear it. I'm interested in swriling my guitar's body but I'm not understanding the tutorial on the project guitar verywell.I don't understant about the Oil Paint.Its paint for canvas painting in fine arts or something else?Does i need to solvate the Oil paint and with what.Can I use regular borax for loundry and what is the paint time extender.Please if someone can explain this to me.Thank you very much!
