feylya
I was just wondering how these two pedals compared with each other. Are they on par or is the Pod better? Also, if using the V-Amp II with the FCB1010, is there a gap when changing patches? I'm really really annoyed with the ME-50 and it's gap. Sambo
I've got a V-amp 2 with me at uni, and my flatmate had a pod2. There is a difference between the two, i'd say the distortion sounds are better on the Vamp, and the cleans better on the pod! so it depepnds what you want it for. With regard with the gap between patches on the v-amp, if you turn off the cabinet modelling, or put all the patches you are using to the same cab simulation, the gap isn't noticable unless you are recording with it. feylya
Surely if you're recording with it, the gap won't be an issue cos you could just record different tones to different tracks. I'm tempted to sell my ME-50 and get a V-Amp2 and a FCB1010.
Daniel Sorbera
right now I'm running a V-amp through the effects in of an acoustic amp (So I just use the power amp of teh acoustic amp) And it sounds great. After about 3 mounths of tweeking I found a setting that makes Me not so sad that I dont have a tube amp.
