I'll be doing a quilt top on my bass and was trying to come up with a secure and even way of fitting it while gluing. You solved that for me! Looks like I'll be getting the hole saw out and making some donuts ← haha, nah, when i said top joining jig, i meant the jig i use to join the bookmatched maple to itself. Then, once thats dry, the jig gets chucked up on top of the shelves until next time, and i cut out the basic shape of the guitar, and glue it on to the body.
