eddiewarlock
Hello guys! been living in London since March and it's been really nice, thing is, i left all my guitars in Venezuela and i need an axe now, do you know anybody in the London area who would help me to build a guitar? for instance, in Venezuela, i didn't have any large tools, but where i bought wood, the guys would help, like planning the pieces, jointing, and cutting with the bandsaw, also, i would like to know where i can buy woods like mahogany, alder, maple, bubinga, ebony, korina, etc, thanks a lot for the help!! Maher
another Londoner! yeah i have the same problem, living in london usually means you dont have too much space, and i certainly dont have enough space for a work shop, so i cant have big tools. anyway for wood - http://www.craft-supplies.co.uk/ http://www.touchstonetonewoods.co.uk/ thats all i can think of right now. where in london are you anyway? Batfink
Theres also Luthier Suppliers (David Dykes..Sussex) and North Higham Sawmills in Norwich. You can get most things over here BUT you do have to look pretty damned hard compared to the US. Jem.
