egdeltar Posted July 7, 2005 Report Share Posted July 7, 2005 On the Wayne Guitar shop tour, Wayne never routes the neck-pocket, yet he talks about it. One scene he’s standing there talking about how the guitar body is finished ready to go to paint, yet no neck-pocket. Then in the next video it’s in the spray booth and the neck pocket is routed. Does any one have an explanation of this? I was just wondering as I’ve been using allot of shop tour videos and tutorials and references. I mean it may just be a simple thing as they didn’t do it for purpose of saving time on the video.. I don’t know, was just wondering if there is a real reason for it. I don’t know, was just wondering if there is a real reason for it. ← That's likely the result of a amateur video shoot. It's also likely the body being sprayed isn't the same one. Stuff like that can be amusing. Like in Dan Erlewine's Fretting DVD there is a point where he says "we'll let this sit overnight", video fade, theoretically the next day but he's wearing the same shirt and pants...granted he could be one of those guys who has 5 pairs of everything the same!
