Pr3Va1L
Ok so I need your help, I'm starting to become desperate. I need to get my 2" wood down to 1.7 (or 1.75.. whatever) but i have no idea how or where to do so... I live in Quebec, Canada and I can't seem to find a single shop that has a thicknesser or a planer... Please help me ...
javacody
Pr3Va1L, no cabinet or furniture makers? Do you live in a very small town?
Mickguard
Well, I know it's not a French-language thing, because I just had a guy around here do just that for me. Mine was more difficult because it's a single piece of wood--luckily a friend knows a friend.... But if you have two or more pieces, it shouldn't be difficult finding someone with an ordinary thicknesser. You could always ask at the local tech school. RGGR
Use the internet, spend half a day on the phone.........and keep on looking. Or you also could use a router and create a set-up like this.
