That's what makes guys like me shake our heads in disgust when we pull that crap out of there. want .005" shim stock ? Aluminum beer/soda can (soak the piece in acetone to get the plastic coating off of it) want thinner shim stock ? Go to hobby shop, get some thin brass sheet. or find a roll of reynolds aluminum foil ( been a while since I measured the thickness of that stuff, but forgive me if it's actually not thinner than soda can aluminum) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
