G_urr_A
I started playing punk/rock (mainly Offspring), but after about a year I got into metal (Iced Earth being the "source of noise" most of the time). it's gotta be downpicking ya know. Why? Ok, they may have played it that way originally, but why make it more difficult than it needs to be. To me, it seems like downpicking it all would give you: 1. A fatigued right arm/hand (depending on how you pick) 2. Uneven wear on your pick 3. Less skillful-looking hand movements What am I missing? StratDudeDan
great, i'm the trashy, angry at the world white boy that a: doesn't play guitar (i'm a bassist by trade, guitarist by accident) and b: was in a punk band the first 3 years of my stringed instrument life. i must be hated now... *hides in corner*
