skelf
Hello Alan! I recognise that template in the background Nice wood! Hi Ben Good to hear from you. How are your projects coming along. I am not over at mimf as much now that my own site is up and running their commercial policy is pretty harsh. skelf
Hi After some final discussions a few changes to the spec. The headplate will now be in ebony with a black/maple veneer under it. The tuners will now be sperzels because I can't source any Schaller locking tuners.
skelf
A good bit of progress made today. The fingerboard has been profile and the neck pocket cut. Also got the pickup cavities routed out. Edited July 4, 2006 by skelf
exafro
I like the maple top you have there. Overall it looks real good so far. One question, what kind of adjusting piece do you have on your truss rod and where did you get it?

Hughes
is it weird that i have NEVER seen this guitar design before yet my new design sort of looks like it?
skelf
is it weird that i have NEVER seen this guitar design before yet my new design sort of looks like it? I wouldn't worry about it there is a finite limit to the varibles which produce a workable guitar it stands to reason that more than one person will arrive at the same place. The trick is I think to make the design as much your own as you can.

Robert Irizarry
Gorgeous - simply gorgeous... I'm curious about how it feels to play it while sitting - the shape appears conducive to sitting in classical position.

Robert Irizarry
Robert Tried out the guitar in classical postion and it works out fine. Very cool. I was curious because the lower contour (the one that would rest on your leg) along with the angle of the bottom of the guitar suggests that it would sit very easily at an angle.
