Nitefly SA
trace a guitar on poster board, trace that onto ply:cut olut, you've got yourself a template. Edited October 9, 2006 by Nitefly SA

al heeley
don't forget to take your pencil and a few large sheets of paper to trace round the outlines of a few of the guitars! I've made a couple of templates from blown up pics off internet images, with a little photoshop manipulation they work well enough for an outline. They will never be millimetre - perfect but then they don't need to be.
postal
It's really tough to make a rev headstock..... Trace a normal headstock, cut it out, and flip it over. hahahhaa!!!!
yahilltrade
^ exalant idea. actually i just picked up a RG body from my friend but it needs some work so im gonna sand it down and work on routing it to be a 7. then im gonna pick up a 7 string neck and banggg
Lord-of-the-strings
Gonna be slightly more difficult then "Banngg" is it going to be floyd equipped? A hard tail will be much easierYou still have to stick with your original centerline I believe, so rather than routing a certain amount on one side of the neck pocket and one side of the pups, you'll have to rout it evenly from the centerline. And if the neck attachment holes on the neck are different than that from the old six string neck (Which I'm assuming they will) you'll have to plug the holes in the neck pocket with dowels and drill new ones.
