verhoevenc
Hey, I'm building a bass for a friend who REALLY likes Warmoth basses, so sonically and wood choice whize it's supposed to be like a warwick thumb 5 string neck through. HOWEVER, I went the whole nine yards and also sourced a warwick bridge. The two piece behemoth that they use. I like the actual bridge (minus the fact there's no WAY to use it without recessing it) but I don't like their stop bar... which made me think about doing a string through. How are string through's accomplished on a bass with a TOM style bridge (ie: I'd have to do furrels on the back AND the top)? Also, how much space behind the furrel holes should there be to ensure the string pressure isn't going to break off wood, etc.? Primal
Shouldn't it be about what the buyer wants?
thegarehanman
I think "buyer" is a relative term in this case.
