The technical particulars:

  • mahogany body from Warmoth's thrift shop which was pretty light finished with a few coats of tung oil
  • one piece rosewood neck w/jumbo frets and shell inlay dots on the fingerboard - I left it unfinished
  • Lace Chrome Dome pickups
  • Gotoh Wilkinson vintage-style Strat bridge
  • Gotoh locking Kluson tuners
  • Graphtech nut and string tree
  • Electrosocket jack
  • cool knobs with shell tops

how do you like that bridge? I've been thinking about trying one for a while now...

I'm very happy with the bridge. That bridge and the locking kluson style tuners makes for a very stable combination. This Strat stays in tune great.

It must be a good guitar, but that oiled mahogany looks kinda unfinished. A 'love it or hate it' look. Sorry for my nitpicking, really top notch instrument, only I'd better like it in a sunburst finish. :D
