IbanezFreak666 Posted May 17, 2007 Report Share Posted May 17, 2007 im thinking of painting an old superstrat body pink and black, fluro pink on the top half and black on the bottom and a swirl of the 2 in the middle. can anyone give me some advice on how to do this, what paint to use etc im a complete noob when it comes to painting but i want to start off with a challinge, if i just did a plain colour i would be sanding it down again by the summer to repaint it. I stripped mine down then sanded it was stuck with a paint designe then i hit on the idea to get some cheap felt tip pens various colours and take them to pieces using the inside ink spungy thing and rub on the front of my guitar starting with light coulors yellow then orange then red then smuging black into it then light brown then back to the yellow did the same on the back left the edge bare wood took ages to dry 24 hours still a bit wet so thought sod and still sprayed it with clear acrylic lacouer its turned out unreal and it looks ace sorry no pics as my camera is on hols with the wife.
