erikbojerik
PLEASE tell me you're going to make some covers for those pickups....the bass sounds too nice not to. Yeah I know, Q-tuners...but FTLOG they're butt ugly uncovered.

Primal
Any chance of a sound demo when it is done? I'd love to hear those Q-tuner bass pickups being played with normal bass parts, rather than the harmonic stuff that is on the Q-tuner website. Xanthus
That body shape is amazing! I love it, it looks very... "aquatic" was the first word that jumped to mind. I dunno, it just strikes me as very organic, alive even. And I second the request for some Q-Tuner sounds eventually. I want to know if these pickups are for the working joe, not another wannabe-boutique manufacturer.
RIM Basses
Hi Guys, Thanks for the feedback on the bass, Im sure I will have some sounds clips done once she is finished. Alex wants the pickups to show the red coil bands, so no covers on this bass. Its gonna be pure pickup and bass tone for one, cant wait to hear it. More pics next week! Robbie. RIM Basses
Hi All, Well still waiting for the fretboard so ive started to build another Jig for my headstock. Im using drill bushes, so it should come out with nice clean holes. On another note, Im building a set for my work friend who runs the UK Garrison. http://www.501stukgarrison.com/ Some people might know about the upcoming Star Wars event at Excel in London (30 years Anv), Looks like Ive got access all areas passes for the weekend and I might also be going to Pinewood studio to build the set before the event. Im also hoping to meet Jeremy Bullock and a few other stars. May the force be with you! Cheers, Robbie.

HuntinDoug
That slotting jig looks like it has the same kind of moveable pin system as the jig I made out of Corian.

TheIRS
Whoa sweet work you have done! I realized that i have the same RYOBI router as you. I like it a lot but i found that it becomes more difficult to use when leaving the guard on.
