lovekraft Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 I found a smokin' deal on a PSH2 gravity feed detail gun - any body know if this will work OK, at least until I can afford an Iwata RG3? Quote
LGM Guitars Posted November 15, 2003 Report Posted November 15, 2003 My suggestion for you is this, If you had a stab wound, would you go to a vet? if your dog was hit by a car, would you take him to a brain surgeon? Point is, they might both be able to help, but they won't be able to do as good a job as the other could Porter cable makes great power tools, I don't think their spray equipment is worth a damn though. Kinda like if you were to buy an Iwata table saw (no they don't make one LOL) If you are looking just for a large gun for clear though, you don't need to spend the money on an Iwata. They make the best airbrushes, no denying that, I have 3 of them, but for a clear gun, you want something with a 1.4mm tip at least, gravity feed is really nice, and there are companies like sharpe, binks, etc that have guns just as good as iwata for half the price. lovekraft Posted November 15, 2003 Author Report Posted November 15, 2003 Thanks, Jeremy, I hadn't thought about it that way. Just out of curiosity, what do you use for clearing, or do you just use your airbrush? Quote
