trashman Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 so i bought a new black and decker drill for small stuff like pickgaurd screws, etc, but the charger only has slots for 3 prongs on it and the battery has 4 prongs, both the battery and charger say that they are compatible, but as its non refundable, i need to figure out how to mod the battery to get into the charger, any ideas? Mattia Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 ...go to the store and ask? Because not refundable is all good and well to claim, but if they sell you something unfit for purpose or faulty they still have the obligation to replace it/repair it... Quote
Setch Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 Egg-zackerly. Take it back , and tell them it's wrong. Quote
Daniel Sorbera Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 Yeah non-refundable means nothing if they sold you the wrong item. Quote
Quarter Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 The 4th prong on the battery might be for alternate installation options or other tools. My Milwaukee gear is like that, you can flip the battery pack if it gets in the way. Does the battery fit in the charger? Quote
