wolftone
I have some limba with a 1 1/2" bark inclusion. Don't know how deep it goes, and may not go as deep as my carve. Shape I am planning to cut would put the inclusion, if it goes that deep, in area I will be drilling for jack. If I flip my template, puts me in area of front strap pin. Is either advisable? Should I treat it, and how? Epoxy? Thanks, Wolf
doug
Bark inclusions are nature's gift to guitar builders! Fill with clear epoxy. The fill will be stronger than the limba.
RestorationAD
+1 on the epoxy fill. If it is nice and deep you can throw some turquoise into the epoxy and it will be sweet. ala Drak

Flon Klar Guitars
When I come across little surprises like inclusions, hidden cracks, or a misdrilled hole, I like to cover them up by exercising my inlay skills!
