low end fuzz
i was planning on documenting this build for my gallery, but my batteries in my camera wore out, and i was in the finishing stages before i actually got around to changing them so heres is the body with some sealing coats brushed on, and some shots of the neck ready for final sanding; http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i23/lowe...zz/IMG_0604.jpg im building this for myself; in the process i origanaaly planned on having a lower bottom horn for the alder blank; i changed my mind after i made up the 'pickguard' templates and when i started cutting i remembered about this when there wasnt any alder under the top part of the horn; ah well, thats why its a little tight to the top and what not, its my fav so far of inlaid guards ive done grant
foil1more
Very cool. What woods did you use for the body?

low end fuzz
thanx; next time! i have no pics, but it looked like most of my glue ups; a table with 1,000 clamps pointing straight up; if your curious about how i glued the inlay, i just used a mellimine caul with wax paper between that and the body; and used epoxy;
black_labb
very nice. love the body. find the neck a bit busy, but that opinion could easily change once its on the instrument.
