daveq Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 I think this may have been asked before but I can't seem to locate a supplier for those AANJ type screws and bushings. Anyone know where I can find them? I haven't tried AllParts yet (the dreaded AllParts web site - ughh!) - maybe I'll wade through it today. Also, do you need to prep the wood before putting those bushings in? I know the wood is usually prep'd for the neck plate for bolt-ons (by lightly steaming and sanding) to prevent the plate from compressing the fibers but how about those screw bushings - anything special? daveq Posted December 15, 2003 Author Report Posted December 15, 2003 Sweet! I couldn't find them under "bushings" or "neck screws" or "screws" or anything else. Thank you for saving me from AllParts web site!! Now, any issues with using them? Are they as strong as neck plate? Any idea what the min. body wood thickness should be? Quote
