metalhead6061 Posted April 5, 2009 Report Posted April 5, 2009 I have an epiphone sg that I did a full scallop on. The scallops are kind of shallow. I was wondering if there's anything I need to do differently when removing a scalloped board. I know there is a tutorial on the site, just want to make sure I don't mess anything up. I'll can take pictures if needed. Thanks. Quote
Daniel Sorbera Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Heat + putty knife. Just like the tutorial on the main site, I cant see a scallop making it any different. Quote
WezV Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 i see it being a little more difficult to heat evenly - but it will still get there eventually Quote
Crusader Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 If it's shallow why remove it? Can you just shave it down? Quote
