Drak
Good God that is some Sexi-Lick-Um-ious Rosewood. 2 questions: 1. Did you use a standard Tele template to cut your bodies out? They look a little 'homegrown' to me for some reason. 2. How experienced are you at finishing Rosewoods? I hope you have some, it is not a starter wood for finishing. Beautiful tops! verhoevenc
I'm curious as to where you are after having seen your pictures. It says that that is east-indian rosewood and it appears you're a mill owner. So I'm guessing India, however you look more Southest-Asian... I'd guess Indonesian. Either way, just me rambling and curiosity. Chris Edit: Hahahaha, I just looked at your profile and DAMN I'm good, it says Indonesia. I used to live in Jakarta! Deni Irawan
Well, you are right Chris, i am an Indo. and here are the back side, as rosewood is dense wood i did something on back of the board before glueing. Chris, i was a wild city dude, its not fun anymore in Jakarta, too much polution and crawded eh, so i move to small village where many rosewood trees are growing here, visit my picasaweb on wooden house, man i likes being here now, its peaceful, i can move whole villagers and become a jungle dude lol, Edited May 18, 2009 by Deni Irawan
SD83
Wow... those will be kinda the first good looking (in my opinion) Tele I have ever seen. Especially the second one of the first pictures and the first backside look incredible. Man I wish I had such domestic hardwoods... the only ones from where I live that might be nearly as good looking are walnut (european) & plum. So many questions... Are all of them chambered as shown on that last picture? How heavy are they? What have you planned for the necks? And why does the picasa-link not work for me? Cam
did anyone else see the eagle in the wood on the first pic? The beak is at the bottom of the guitar, it is cut off a bit, the eyes are around the bridge area and then the streamline feathers run down to the neck.
