ihocky2 Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Do a search, I know it was covered not that terribly long ago in the finishing section. Quote
Dakhahn Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 You can usually get the paint for crackle finishes at a hobby or crafts store. It usually consists of a base coat, the crackle glazing compound, followed buy your top coat. A google search should give you plenty of options for paint. Quote
ae3 Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 I remember the thread Ihockey is talking about, there are some links in it. Search in the finishing section. Quote
ihocky2 Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 From what I remember reading either here or at another forum, the crackle finish is not as easy to do as it sounds. I some how remember that if you don't get the crackle paint on just right it either doesn't work or just causes other problems. Quote
