Anyone With A Short Scale Bass String Handy?

can someone tell me the measure of the winding from the ball to the taper?

i cant wait for my strings to arrive to start designing the headstock; the scale is like 30.5 and i dont want to wrap any of the fat string on the post;

I could take a look at my bass for you when I get home. It's a ~30" scale with short scale strings. I'm not sure if your strings will have the same length of winding, but it might be helpful.

Measured 2 strings off a 30" scale bass. Got 31.5" between ball and where full thickness wind ends.

but if thats the case;the scale is 30" from nut to saddle ,how much length is there from saddle to the ball?

that seems like its cutting it pretty close just for intnation purposes?
