doomlord Posted August 15, 2010 Report Share Posted August 15, 2010 It seems like an eternity has passed since I post my Priest Tribute for GOTM June 2007, usual excuses, moving countries, having kids, no money etc.... Anyway 2nd build is near completion, I haven't got any of the work in progress pics as my harddrive failed so so only got before and after paint pics left :-( Build is pretty simple, rock maple through neck with alder body wings. Inlay is white, yellow & black pearl with a couple of pieces of abalone. Dissappointed that the yellow and black pearl didn't hold it's colour after radiusing the neck, lesson learned. Body, neck and headstock bound with white plastic. Zero neck angle so recessed TOM bridge. Hardware will be satin chrome - sperzel locking tuners, dunlop strap locks and string through ferrules. Electrics - EMG89 and Fernandes sustainer, 1 volume pot, 3-way switch and kill switch. I hope it isn't another 3 years before I get around to doing my next build.
