KILOWAT® Posted January 4, 2004 Author Report Share Posted January 4, 2004 well at first i have a friend that says that bigsby is better than floyd coz its easyer to handle ...and another says that he likes floyd coz it never change tones and you dont allways neeed to tune it coz of the bolts on the neck... i tried the two and i really dont see the difference so maybe i'd ask which is better....thats my problem.... You really didn't notice a difference? The floyd will stay in tune way better than a bigsby. Plus bigsby's range is +/- less than a step whereas floyd's range is from slack to ~+2 steps (maybe more depending on setup.) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They simply live in two different worlds, not comparable in my book. That's like comparing a 1957 ES 225TDC and a JEM777. Just too different to compare.
