krazyderek Posted January 10, 2004 Report Posted January 10, 2004 Daddario XL157's 0.014-0.068, baritone guitar strings they're meant to be tuned a 4th lower then standard guitar on a 29 3/4" scale guitar neck (baritone). I'm gonna use them for C tuning on a 25 1/2" neck. They might be what you're looking for. Quote
darren wilson Posted January 10, 2004 Report Posted January 10, 2004 I'm not sure what you're asking here. On a 27" scale neck, you should be able to use regular guitar strings. I use GHS Boomers .011 to .050 with a .070 low B on my 7 string, and there's plenty of string left over at the head to fit on a 27" scale instrument. Higher tension is kinda the whole point of going with longer scale. If you want easier bends, go with lighter gauge strings, or stick with standard scale lengths. Quote
