hi everyone on project guitar forums!

my idea was to make an on/off switch for my guitar, with a led indicator (powered by a battery).

the led should light up when switched on, and allowing the signal to go through.

when turned off, the signal should be cut.

i thought it would be easy, but now i can't figure it out, because when i put the guitar signal into the circuit, the signat gets cut, and there is no sound.

can anyone help me how to make this work?

thanks in advance!

What type of switch are you using? It would need to be a DPST type. This way you can have 2 circuits separated using one switch.
