HuntinDoug Posted July 23, 2012 Report Posted July 23, 2012 Anybody used this stuff? I checked it out at a local wood store. Water based, quick dry, low odor... Looks like it may work well for guitars: http://www.rockler.c...KLER&page=30835 Quote
jessejames Posted July 24, 2012 Report Posted July 24, 2012 I was going to make a post about how I would be afraid that the water base would cause the grain to rise. Then I popped my head out of my butt and remembered you seal it before you spray finish, thereby eliminating that problem. Quote
bob123 Posted August 18, 2012 Report Posted August 18, 2012 My concern wouldn't be raised grain, but is it a simple spray or brush application? I know some wood turning finishes are burnished on, which would be a an absolute pain to apply on a guitar effectively. Quote
