soapbarstrat
Snork messin' with high voltage.......Makes me think of the huge fireworks displays on the 4th of July Start out with a "champ" type design. I built one from scrap parts I had, thinking it certainly wouldn't work in the end. It did work, and had the best clean tone I ever heard in my life. Then I tried to mod it for more distortion, which took away the great clean tone, and did not produce good distortion. Never got around to putting it back how it was. I will one of these days. (been zapped bad a few times from messing with amps)
John@B.F.EGYPT Guitars
Mojo music supply now offers kits-everything from a tweed champ, to JTM-45 to High power Tweed Twin. Not cheap, but quality is up there(components) with Victoria ect. Start small, though so the ampage and other webbie solderheads can walk you through any problems that arise.
