I have one from the late 70's and its broken off at the control cavity (completely missing). I think the damage is too extensive to fix so I'm planning on building a new body. bileshake Posted August 25, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 25, 2014 I was just coming back to post that I've been an idiot. I have the guitar with the control cavity broken off. Grab a pick off the web. Scale the two, overlap in photoshop and pow, I have a scaled template revealing the dimensions of the missing piece.
