How to achieve such a finish?

Hi guys,

Does anyone know how Mayones did this finish ?

You spray or dye it black, then you put red paint or red grain filler in the grain and wipe it smooth.

It has to be a flatsawn piece of ash, or else the grain and afffect wont b as extreme.
