Devon Headen
Here they are What the heck?!?! A charred neck? Anyone find this a little odd. I know some people like to smash guitars, but I can't say I've ever heard of burning them . Devon

ansil
want to see my burned neck.. burning them especially a newer gutiar where the wood wasn't properly driied makes it really kick some butt. i had a dead and lifeless ibanez guitar. no sustain nothing. flat dead tone.. only soudn i got was from the pickups.. not bad yoru run of the meal cheap ibanez. but i wantd it to breathe. stripped off the clear coat. still not doing it for me so i stripped it all down parts wise. put kerosene on it.. and added fire to it.. hmm charcoal guitar.. kept it in the trunk for about six months. all wrapped up then i sanded it put a single coat of spray on krylon clear.. basically to keep it from smelllin up my house and to keep th eblack stuff off me.. and re hardwared it.. i would do it al agian too.. just not as long this time.. lol
