If I remember the back is stained green and the centre of it has been sanded to take away some of the dye. Is that right? I'm thinking of doing something very similar. It's a Les Paul Jr rip off and the back is Mahogany. Just wondering if that is all there was too it or if it's (more than likely) a lot more complicated. The back is stained blue, but on the mahogany it looks green I did it just like you said but I also stained the sides black and lightly sanded the black a bit to show some blue (green ) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
