JohnJohn
I just wired a piece up and used .47 on 500k for humbuckers,(6.5-7.2 reading).Problem is when the tone is turned all the way up it cuts the pick-up off. This is because I used a cap that is too large, yes? JohnJohn
Pick-ups wired to volume's with the tones slaved in and out to switch then to the output jack,(standard LP).Bridge ground to back of volume and all pots linked to ground line. lovekraft
How do you have the tone wired? Sounds like you don't have the cap wired right. Use this diagram to eliminate all control interactions.
JohnJohn
Thanks mate, just tagged that in.I'm getting the piece back in a couple of weeks,(owner wanted to do some photos before I could do any troubleshooting ),I'll go with that when it shows up. Had the caps wired through the tone's in lug then onto the back of the pot. Thanks for all the info folks.
