ibreakemineedtobuildem
Waiting to throw some pu's in.It's too bad I can't inlays Next time.At least not having any will improve my skills. I like the shape. It is small.Less than 12 inches across at the widest point. It feels cool. It has many mistakes, but I'm building this cause I really need a guitar. The neck and fingerboard are straight as an arrow. Thanks guys.Without this site I'd still be waiting to save up for a new guit. I probably won't buy again. http://img38.photobucket.com/albums/v116/I...em/DSC00825.jpg http://img38.photobucket.com/albums/v116/I...em/DSC00822.jpg http://img38.photobucket.com/albums/v116/I...m/guitar113.jpg
GregP
I like it! What are your plans for the PU? Covered or bare? Mounting rings or direct to wood? Switching config? I have to admit, I look at my fretboard too much to do without fret marker inlay. Do you plan on putting inlay for this guitar eventually, or will you leave it bare for the final version? Cheers, Greg
ibreakemineedtobuildem
i like the covered look, but I'll put an invader at the bridge and something retro in the neck.I'm not sure for the set up.I would like to do inlays.Little gun shy

ibreakemineedtobuildem
Thanks guys. My major mistake was making my own cavity cover.I didn't save the template and i lost my cover. So now i have a 1 of a kind cavity with no way to cover it.Talk about a rookie eh lol.I won't do that again.Throw that in the mistake thread Notice no back pix.Its Mahogany. Scott Rosenberger
put a piece of thin poster board over the rear cavity and take a pencil and rub it over the cavity. you should cut your new plate to the outline that shows up on the posterboard
