Curtis P
I am going to slot my beach fingerboard tommorow at school (of course, i will practice the first half of the period) then mark out my inlays and maybe get them cut out, scalpel please then i was going to finish it, i was thinking dark walnut stain, and my neck which is black cherry, do it in a red mahaogany, is it OK to stain Beach wood?? or do I just leave it the pee-yellow colour it is??? KsE Guitars
You sure its beech? pee-color isnt the color i would think of when it comes to that wood, after doing some minor research if it is beech, yeah you can stain it (i assume you ment beech, not beach)

skibum5545
I always like wood to stay its natural color, and I find beech rather attractive in fact. You sure you couldn't just leave it like it is? Have you considered binding it for some variety?
Curtis P
well, i could leave it, but since my guitar is going to be black and white, i might do it in black to accent the body, but maybe not, i will re-concider Curtis
