Maher
IS it a hard job putting a Bigsby trem on a les paul?, is there a tutorial website that shows me how to do it? thanks
jbkim
Judging from the pictures on their website it looks very straight forward. From their FAQ: Question: Do I have to alter my instrument to install a Bigsby Vibrato? Answer: Only slightly. Bigsbys? are fairly easy to install, however you should always consult a qualified guitar technician before installing. Question: Can I install a Bigsby Vibrato myself? Answer: Yes. Anyone with some basic hand tool skills can install a Bigsby Vibrato.
Maher
Thanks do you think i would have to install a locking not to make sure the guitar stays in tune or will it be ok? and does anyone know where i can get it in the uK? jbkim
No, no locking nut as the bigsby doesn't have fine tuners. For a bigsby, I'd look into a roller bridge, locking tuners and a slippery (graphite, roller or even bone with a drop of oil) nut. Sorry, don't know about where to get in UK .
