haydnbuzz
Hi, im hopefully buying a boss rv-2 reverb pedal, but this does not come with an adaptor, would this power supply work here are the specs (AC 600mA) Universal regulated power supply incorporating a 2m lead, fitted plug and six different detachable connection fittings. Offers variable voltage outputs of 1.5, 3, 4.5, 6, 7.5, 9V DC. Reversible polarity facility. Input: UK 230V Output: 1.5/3/4.5/6/7.5/9V Current: 600mA max Polarity: Switchable I have a boss ac power supply which could be used for this pedal but it's in use for another pedal, this supply is 200mA rather than 600mA. Basically could the power supply above be used to power the rv-2 pedal without damaging it? Cheers Haydn
VanKirk
Too much current. Don't use it. ^^^Stupid Comment. Posted before reading thoroughly Edited April 27, 2004 by VanKirk
Slaughthammer
use it. that's what i'm doing with my boss mt-2... works fine.... except for the 50Hz in the background.... otherwise use a V-cable with the boss adaptor
feylya
Too much current. Don't use it. You're talking rubbish I'm afraid. The power supply CAN supply 600mA, it doesn't push 600 all the time.

VanKirk
RANT RANT RANT...Defensive post, blah blah blah <-----Total rubbish post pulled by author works fine.... except for the 50Hz in the background You talking about 60 cycle hum? I wouldn' think that it works fine then. I use that sort of 'universal' wall-wart all the time. I thought you were in the USA? Why would you use a supply with 240v input? I would rather be wrong telling him not to use it rather than being wrong if he did - 'better safe than sorry' as they say. <-----More defensive BS post
