Well, i was thinkin of actually sellin my pedal for a MXR distortion + but decided that some slight tweaking and with my CRAPPY Yamaha amp, it can actually sound good, nice crunch and all Curtis

Guitar Geek Review Thats my pedal, i got it given to me, replaced the battery, played it, about 4 months later the ground wire came off so for 10 bucks i got it replaced, I love this pedal! does anyone else use this one? Curtis

VanKirk, when you say true by pass, you mean so its just completly clean? yes, what i plan on doing is just distortion at the moment, on my Boss Heavy Metal, it has 4 knobs, volume(level) the left and right colour blend and the distortion, i was just going to design a chip board for a tube scremer style pedal but only have the volume and distortion then incorporate it to the guitar, i know its difficult to explain over the internet, ohh, by the way, the picture in my first post, that aint goin to be the finish, this one is going to be a carved top hollow body, and instead of those 2 fancy holes for the sound, either flame cut outs or lightning bolts, painted black with either flames (if flame cut out) or a big lightnin bolt down the centre (if i use the lightning bolt cut outs) so, haha, i cant wait to go help my friend shop for a acoustic guitar at pawn shops! crappy bodied guitar, here i come! To answer you questions, I am going to take a reberb pedal, take the guts out and jam it into the body..... haha, just joking, it would work, but i hate battery powered idea, if i cant figure out the reverb, then i wont do it, but the distortion i am getting my friend to build a circuit board for a distortion pedal (Tube Screamer) and i will put it in, even though it runs on batteries, i have always wanted a Tube Screamer Thanks, yes, i am tracing around my dads Curtis

Well, I am dawning near the end of my Jackson RR project, waiting for the pickups and couple other parts to come in, the neck will go on, but i gotta go to the hardware store to get some good bolts for it Anyways, here is what my next project will be: The pickups and all, i have decided that this will be my thrash guitar, something that will not be the greatest, but looks good and fun to play, so i decided to look around in pawn shops for a real cheap electric bolt on neck guitar, steal the neck off it, and pickups, single coil or not, and then, i am going to put built in distortion and reverb on it, 2 volumes (1 per pickup to blend them together, thanks for idea wes!) and the other 2 for distortion and reverb, luckily, my father has a double cut away style guitar in mint shape, but its a lefty so i cant play it, and he does not want me to tear it apart and make it work for me, he doesnt play it, but he still likes it that way, anywho, i have a problem with hi jacking my own thread! i need an opinon if it should be double cut or single cut, either way, its going to be hollow body with crappy pickups and neck from a pawn shop guitar, built in reverb and distortion, so, single cut away or double? haha, ok thanks canuck, i will try that, ohh, and while i am thinking about it, if you play a left handed guitar as a right handed one, its a heck of a lot easier to play the solo that way!

Aaron Today, i was bored in math, so i took out a peice of paper and started drawing my "custom axe" It kinda looked goofy, but what it was was a hollow body neck through (the sides where hollow) but, heres the kicker, it was a giant "C" the mickups where on where the neck should go through regular body, and the knobs where on the bottom part of the C, i thought it looked kinda cool, then, i drew up a different one with my company logo for the body (SG = Slick Guitars) (haha, its corny) and it turned out pretty gnarly lookin, my point is, how about something like that? PG for the body, hollow body for that "phat" tone My 0.02 Curtis P.S. please dont make fun of me for my corny company name, i am talkin to everyone (wes)

BMXGUY The guitar i want to buy looks like that, only its Yellow, like the Randy Rhoads one, except he has a freakin huge pickgaurd thing with about 50 million knobs on it, it looks fugly, but everything on it works, if it had machine heads and a bridge, its been sittin under a couple shelves for 17 years and we plugged it into an amp and tapped on the humbuckers, you could hear a slight sound, everything worked, i been tryin to buy it, but since i pretty much ordered all my pickups and truss rod and all the stuff for my project guitar, i have no cash for it, so, it will have to wait a bit later, besides, it aint goin anywhere BTW, yes, something like that can be built, that is what i am tackaling next, so i will keep you posted on schematics and all if you want, if you need more info, send me a PM Curtis
